# Downloaded without referral?

## Downloaded without referral or referral did not work? Try This!

Having an issue with inviting your friend via referral, or have you downloaded the app without a referral? **Here is a way!**

1. Tell your friends to **download the Runwago app** directly from the App Store or Google Play (**without any referral**)
2. **After installing the app, they just need to click your referral link anywhere on their phone** (Telegram chat, WhatsApp chat, email, etc.) within 24 hours after the download. 
3. Once the referral link is activated, your friend will appear in your Community within the app after a few minutes
4. Once the referral link is activated, **your friend will receive 30 days of Premium!**

**This backup process can be completed within the first 24 hours - so no worries, Runners, everything is fine!**

## Referral System: Known Bug (Edge Case: Android + Facebook Messenger)

For some Android users/devices, the referral link may not work when sent via Facebook Messenger. We recommend sending the link through another platform, such as email, Telegram, or WhatsApp. This issue will be fixed in the upcoming App updates!
